FAQs About the Pocket Studio Pro 2.0

  1.  Can I try the APP before I purchase or while I wait for delivery?

  2. What colors does it print in?

    Answer: Our Pocket Studio Pro 2.0 makes prints in either black or blue colors, however you can add more color to your prints by printing on the various colored papers or taking a colored marker or pencil to it yourself!


  3. How does it print without ink or toner?

    Answer: Our devices use thermal printing technology, which utilizes a unique chemical reaction between the paper and the heated print-head of the Pocket Studio Pro 2.0. In a nutshell, the color that appears isn’t transferred from the printer to the paper; it’s already in the paper.


  4. Will the photos and prints fade after time?

    Answer: No! Some of our users are already familiar with thermal printing technology, and the main concern with it being that photos and prints tend to fade quickly. However, there has been considerable development in our products and we’re proud to say that our thermal is of highest quality and is insured to keep for 10+ years on average (20+ years for the color paper, 10+ years for the black and white and 5+ years for the blue and white)

    One thing to note is that photos will be altered if they are exposed to extreme heat (like a stove or oven) or  left out in direct sunlight for extensive prolonged periods of time (as with the color of most objects)


  5. Does it contain BPA?

    Answer: BPA is a big issue and concern for many people, especially with products they wish to use often and on a daily basis. Low grade thermal paper is often an ocean of BPA and, therefore, very unhealthy. PocketStudio is happy to say that  none of our devices, cases, nor paper include any BPA whatsoever.


  6. How long does the shipping take?

    Answer: We like to set the bar of expectation to be around 5-14 business days. However, on the vast majority of our orders, we’ve been seeing around 12 calendar days delivery to most major cities in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

  7. How can I track my order?

    Answer: Simply use the tracking number sent to you in the shipment confirmation email from us on Parcelsapp.com or visit the tracking tab on our page!

    If you haven’t received or can’t find the confirmation email with your tracking number, please check your junk/spam folder first and if you still can't find it don’t hesitate to contact our customer service, as they will sort out any issues you may be having.


  8. I live in a country that’s not listed, can I still order?

    Answer: There is a good chance you might! We’re currently trying to serve as many locations around the world as possible, but if your country isn’t listed in the order options, contact us via email (info@pocketstudio.co) or via contact form on our page and we’ll try our best to accommodate your order.


  9. Is my Pocket Studio Pro 2.0™ compatible with other thermal paper?

    Answer: Short answer, yes! Long answer, maybe you wouldn't want to...
    In the world of thermal printing, the paper is the life-blood and a key component in producing results. Although it's important to be using a quality printing device in the first place (WATCH OUT FOR SIMILAR-LOOKING KNOCKOFFS), using quality paper is a huge factor in ensuring that your creations don't fade and show up how they're supposed to!
